NATALIE SMITH, D.M.D.

Pediatric Dentist in Lewisville TX

Dr. Smith is originally from Ormond Beach, Florida. She earned her bachelor’s and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida. It was during dental school that she realized treating children was the best part of dentistry. She completed a pediatric dental residency at the University of Tennessee where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. During her training, Dr. Smith treated children at LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center, Crittenden Regional Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Dr. Smith is an active member of the dental community. She maintains membership with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Texas Dental Association. In her spare time, she enjoys adventures from traveling to exploring new parks with her golden retriever, Elton.


JESSICA BELL, D.D.S

Pediatric Dentist in Lewisville TX

Dr. Bell is recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry as a board-certified pediatric dentist. Dr. Bell is a native Texan and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She attended Baylor College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2002. Following dental school, she completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.


Stephen Kyle Hartzog, DMD

Dr. Kyle Hartzog grew up in South Carolina where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Following dental school, he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at NYU Langone Hospitals.

In his free time, Dr. Hartzog loves to spend time with his wife, family, and friends. He and his wife, Lauren, are always excited for an adventure. Whether it is trying new foods or traveling across the world, he and Lauren are always seeking out new experiences. He enjoys traveling, running, good food, and doing anything outdoors. Dr. Hartzog is also very active in his church and is passionate about dental mission trips.


Marie Shidler, DDS

Marie Shidler, DDS

Dr. Marie Shidler grew up in Colorado where she he attended the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine for her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.   Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Shidler served in the United States Air Force and completed a one-year residency in advanced general dentistry at Scott Air Force Base. She then served three years in Spangdhalem, Germany where she focused her efforts towards treating military children. Once she completed her service, she completed a two-year pediatric residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. 

In her free time, Dr Shidler loves spending time with her family, especially since having her sweet baby – Cooper.  She enjoys spending comfortable time at home.  You can always count on a great show recommendation from her!  


OUR TEAM

MICHELLE M.

Michelle is a licensed dental hygienist. She was a part of the first graduating class of Marcus High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from TWU. Michelle is a Red Raider fan. Her son is in his senior year at Texas Tech. She also loves watching her daughter play soccer for Marcus High School and her select soccer team. Michelle loves working with kids and making their smiles healthy!


JESSICA

Jessica is a Registered Dental Assistant. She was born and raised in Highland Village, Texas. Jessica loves all things Disney and even lived in Florida for 3 years, where she enjoyed going to Disney World almost weekly. Jessica has a daughter named Lauren and a beloved golden retriever named Cooper. Jessica strives to make every child’s dental experience a positive one so your child will love to come to the Dentist.


TASHA

Tasha is a registered dental assistant. She was born and raised in Pine Bluff, AK, and received her Dental Assisting diploma in 2013. She believes that going to work every day holds something new and another opportunity to ensure our patients feel comfortable and leave happy. In her downtime, she loves going to the movies and spending time with her family.


MICHELLE D.

Michelle is our operations assistant. She has been with us since 2013 and has recently expanded her role in the office to assist with patient care. She was born in El Paso TX and resides in Flower Mound, Texas. Michelle is the oldest of two brothers and one sister. She has three dogs and two wonderful nephews. Michelle
enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and close friends. She loves basketball and football, especially FOOTBALL. Her Dallas Cowboys have a special place in her heart.


DANIELA

Daniela is our treatment coordinator. She was born in Puerto Rico and raised in NYC. Daniela moved to Dallas in 2006 and she absolutely loves Texas! She has over 9 years of experience in the dental field and she strives to make your appointment a positive one! She enjoys spending time outdoors, and working out – which comes in handy, chasing after her son!


SONJA

Sonja is our Office Manager. She has been with our team since Lewisville Kids Dentistry opened in 2010. She brings over 15 years of pediatric experience to serve all of your appointment needs! She enjoys watching her daughter play golf, binge-watching Netflix documentaries, and taking mini-vacations.
